2020 District Literary Rally Team

OHS Makes It's Mark at LSUE Literary Rally

On February 28, 2020 and March 7, 2020 Opelousas High School students competed at the District Speech and Drama Rally and the Literary Rally at the Louisiana State University-Eunice to qualify for the state Louisiana High School Rally Association (LHSRA) competition on April 25, 2020. Unfortunately, due to the public health crisis, the State Rally has been cancelled for 2020. We are proud of the hard work our students put into this competition and are recognizing their accomplishments below. The purpose of LHSRA is to provide opportunities for students to achieve a greater awareness of the importance of education in these critical times and gain a renewed determination to develop their talents to the maximum by promoting keen competition and a desire for excellence, and in recognizing academic endeavors on a statewide level. Furthermore, it is an enlightened way of recognizing and rewarding students who excel in that for which all schools are primarily established, academic pursuits. Attached is a document that includes each teacher’s name and the Google Classroom class code for your student to access the lessons posted there. The code is for the students to sign into the classroom.
