Opelousas High School students will learn, develop, and utilize critical thinking skills in all subject areas to prepare for post-secondary educational and work force opportunities.

Pep Squad Gets Support!

The OHS Pep Squad and sponsor Deborah Barlow would like to thank Wal-Mart Supercenter #543 for their $500 Community Grant to help purchase uniforms and defray travel costs to events. This gives them the great opportunity to cheer on Opelousas and our great TIGERS.

Thank you for your Support

Opelousas High Special Education Department and educator Deborah Barlow would like to say thank you to the Opelousas Neighborhood Wal-Mart #5125 for their $1000 Community Grant and the Wal-Mart Distribution Center #6048 for their $2500 Community Grant. These funds will be used to help support our special education students with supplies and resources for schoolwork including cleaning supplies, specialized books, hands on activities and technology. Funds will also be used to support student activities such as Special Olympics and field trips once Covid restrictions are lifted.
