Career & Technical Education is such an important component in education. St. Landry Parish School District does a great job of seeking out and providing our students with access to stellar CTE programs, resources and courses. If you suspect your child of having Talented characteristics in MUSIC, THEATRE AND/OR VISUAL ART contact your child’s school for a referral to the School Building Level Committee. Talented referrals and evaluations are only conducted once a year in the Spring.

This application is open to all current students enrolled in St. Landry Parish public schools in 8th through 12th grade. Jump Start Afterhours CompTIA + will be offered online only (with the option of testing in-person if needed), and requires an internet connection and a Chromebook. The program will begin around November 8, 2021, and end on May 26, 2022. Program contingent on the number of applicants. The application will close on October 29, 2021.
